The Community Academy Summer Program

During Summer Experience 2024, participants will have amazing experiences, meet new friends and mentors, get out into nature, learn new skills and information, connect with our community, have fun! We focus on projects that allow students the opportunity to make positive change in our community in conjunction with community partners like the City of Ames and Food at First.

Participants will be involved in many types of experiences each week from hiking and canoeing to growing and harvesting food. There will also be opportunities to personalize their day based on their preferences.
