About this event

It’s National 4-H Week! Become Beyond Ready with Story County 4-H!

Participating in the 4-H program allows kids to learn by doing with caring adults and friends in a fun, safe setting. 4-H is for youth in grades 4-12. These members participate in club activities, conferences, and competitive events at the county and state levels.
Youth who participate in 4-H are:
• 3 times more likely to participate in community service
• 2 times more likely to report living life with intentionality and purpose
• 2 times more likely to have the goal of being a leader

This year’s theme is BEYOND READY, which celebrates the program’s dedication to building a generation equipped for the future while being met where they are today. This year, 4-H is focused on helping youth be ready to lead, ready to serve, ready to build, and ready to conquer.

4-H programming focuses on the following program project areas:
• Agriculture and Natural Resources
• Communication and the Arts
• Healthy Living
• Leadership and Civic Engagement
• STEM

Clover Kids is for youth in grades kindergarten-3rd grade. These members participate in club meetings and learn about the 4-H program through activities and opportunities.

Clover Kids can participate in the following:
• Investigate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)
• Learn the importance of being healthy and physically active
• Play fun cooperative games and make new friends
• And much, much more!!

“Story County 4-H offers opportunities and experiences for youth to become their authentic selves and explore their interests.
