About this event
Parents are you looking for a fun activity to keep the kids engaged on a day off from school? Well, look no further!
Can you build like a beaver or a bird? Explore outdoors to find out what gives animal shelters their strength and waterproofing. After learning about the built-in “tools” animals use, see if you can build a small shelter from natural materials to keep an “animal” dry and safe. We will test your engineering with water and weights!
This is a FREE event. Please be prepared to spend part of the program time outside, so dress accordingly in clothes that can get dirty.
