Ames Youth Football Spring Camp

Our camps are led by our experienced and energetic AYF flag and tackle coaches. New, current and past Ames Youth Football athletes are welcome to attend! This is a great camp for both flag and tackle participants. Our camp plan is tailored to be inclusive and teaches football skills that are transferable between the two groups that we offer programming for. This camp is non-contact.

If your athlete is playing tackle in the fall they MUST attend one of the tackle fitting times at Spring Camp.

Who: Current 1st to 6th Grades – Registered for Tackle or Flag 2025 Season
Where: Ames High School – North Practice Field
Date: May 18th, 2025
Time:
* Current 1st – 3rd Grades: 12pm to 1pm (Tackle Players will be fitted immediately after camp ends)
*Tackle Fittings: 1:00 pm – 1:30 pm
* Current 4th -6th Grades: 1:30pm to 3:30pm (Tackle Players will be fitted immediately after camp ends)
*Tackle Fitting: 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Cost: $25 per player – Includes T-Shirt (RSVP by May 1 to guarantee T-SHIRT)

* Bring a Water Bottle
* Recommended Attire: Cleats (not required), Shorts and T-Shirt

***All tackle players must get fitted for equipment at camp and have a YSF waiver signed***
