Free Summer Meals 2024
The Ames Community School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at a first come, first serve basis at the sites and times as follows from June 10, 2024 – July 18, 2024.
Sawyer Elementary School
On-site: 4316 Ontario Street, Ames
Breakfast – Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
Lunch – Monday through Thursday 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Mitchell Elementary School (go to the northwest door)
On-site: 3521 Jewel Drive, Ames
Breakfast – Monday through Thursday 7:30 am – 8:30 am
Lunch – Monday through Thursday 11:15 am – 12:15 pm
There will be no meal service at Sawyer and Mitchell on June 19, June 20, and July 4.
Bethesda Lutheran Church (Boys and Girls Club)
Lunch – Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m
There will be no meal service at Bethesda on June 19 and July 4 & 5.
