Delivery Model Change Request Open this Week
In-Person Instruction Parent Option:
On January 29, 2021, Governor Reynolds signed SF 160, a bill that requires schools to offer parents an option for full-time in-person instruction. As of today, all of our school buildings are providing an in-person delivery model option, along with the 100% online option through our Remote Campus.
The bill also requires schools to provide parents notice of the opportunity to select full-time in-person instruction and allow at least 5 days to decide their selection if the school will still offer other instructional options. We have re-opened our ACSD Learning Delivery Model Change Request form to give parents an opportunity to select the 100% in-person delivery model.
Delivery Model Change Request Open this Week
Our ACSD Learning Delivery Model Change Request form will be open this week, allowing parents another window to select the 100% in-person delivery model. The deadline for this window will run through Sunday, February 7. Once closed, the next opportunity to select the in-person delivery model will be in April. The form continues to remain open for parents to request a transition to the Remote Campus delivery model at any time. Here is a summary of the key dates:
Key Dates:
February 7, 2021 – Deadline for Remote Campus students PK-12 to request in-person on-site instruction. The transition date will be Monday, February 15, 2021.
April 4, 2021 – Once the February 7 date passes, the next opportunity for Remote Campus students PK-12 to request in-person on-site instruction is April 4, 2021. The transition date will be Friday, April 9, 2021, which is the start of the fourth quarter.
If your students are in their desired delivery model (in-person or online through Remote Campus), you do not need to access this form.
