EcoFair

The City of Ames EcoFair is back with booth, vendors, activities, and displays focused on sustainability. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, the parking lot west of City Hall, 515 Clark Ave., will be filled with information showcasing the ways residents can reduce, reuse, and recycle. In case of inclement weather, the event will move into City Hall. Participants will have the opportunity to talk with City of Ames staff, interact with vendors, and learn about energy-saving products and services. The EcoFair is designed to offer a broad array of conservation information featuring displays about the City of Ames’ Eco Smart programs, which include electricity, water, watersheds, and trash.
