Cub Scouts Pack 275

Cub Scout Pack 275 includes youth and their parents from the Ames Community in K-5th grade. We meet the 2nd Monday of each month at our charter organization, the Ames Izaak Walton League from 6:30–8:00 p.m. as a pack for games, awards, skits & songs, special presentations, tours, educational programs, camping, the annual pinewood derby, and so much more!

Dens meet regularly (usually once a month) to work by grade level on hands-on educational activities for advancement and award opportunities with an emphasis on outdoor activities. This experiential learning introduces youth to key STEM concepts with topics ranging from nature studies to civic engagement. Each youth works to complete seven adventures (approximately one a month) and additional electives annually to earn their next rank.

April – ‘Stash the Trash’ community service project
June 2-3 – Spring pack campout

Registration is $14/month for the remainder of 2022!

If you enjoy scouting, the annual youth registration for 2023 is TBD. An optional Scouts’ Life subscription is available for a minimal fee. Popcorn fundraising might cover part of the registration fees if we raise enough money for the pack.
