Winter Gear Requests
We are excited to be able to provide families with winter gear items again this year, as we have for the past few years. We are partnering with local churches, community organizations, and within the District to be able to ensure that every student has the winter items they need to be safe and have fun this winter!
If you filled out the form, winter gear items will be available for pick up on November 6 at Edwards Elementary from 2-6 pm.
TO GIVE: Please consider donating gently used or new winter gear such as coats, hats, waterproof gloves, snow pants, and boots (all sizes welcome-please place in a tied grocery bag to keep boots together). Donations will be accepted October 9-November 2 at all Ames Schools, Ames Community School District Office (2005 24th St.), and Cornerstone Church.
TO RECEIVE: The form for winter gear requests is closed. If you need assistance with winter clothing, please reach out to your Student and Family Advocate for your building.
